“Creating Opportunities- One Student At A Time”

Welcome to the websites for the Clovis, Madera, Oakhurst, and newly opened Willow International Educational Centers of the State Center Community College District. These four college centers are known as the North Centers due to their location in the northern portion of our community college district. As part of the State Center Community College District, it is possible to take classes concurrently at any of the North Centers as well as Fresno City College or Reedley College. Each of the Clovis, Madera, Oakhurst, and Willow International Centers serve the educational needs of the people in the communities in which they are located. We have a variety of classes and programs that can assist you in attaining your educational goals, ranging from transfer to a four-year institution, obtaining a Certificate or Associate Degree in an occupational training area, taking classes that lead to upgrading of job skills, or simply for your personal enrichment.

In terms of facilities, the new 110 acre Willow International site, located at the corner of Willow and International Avenues in Fresno, is now open with an 80,000 square foot Academic Center comprised of state-of-the art computer, multi-media, art/drawing, physical science, and physics labs, along with a 12,000 square foot Child Development Center and a “one stop” student services area. Day and evening classes will continue to be held at the current Clovis Center site as well.

The 50,000 square foot Madera Center Academic Village includes a variety of classrooms and laboratories including computer, microbiology, chemistry, biology, Office Technology, Licensed Vocational Nursing, and art laboratories as well as classrooms and offices.  A newly renovated library, student services, and administration facility is located adjacent to the Academic Village. Our focus on providing quality services does not stop in the classroom. We also offer a variety of student services including financial aid, counseling, disabled student services and programs, co-curricular activities, and bookstore services.

The Oakhurst Center classrooms have been upgraded with state-of-the art technology as well as having wireless capacity on the site. Additional classrooms and a new computer lab are being designed for installation in the near future.

We offer traditional classes during the day, evenings, and Saturdays, as well as online and point-to-point interactive classes that will fit your individual schedule. Please continue to research our websites and visit our North Center campuses so we can create opportunities that address your educational and professional goals.
