The study of human and animal behavior. Classes cover topics that include learning, life-span development, personality, human sexuality and mental illness. Courses in this field of study can ultimately lead to graduate study and a Ph.D. degree, but it is also the case that non-psychology students can benefit from these courses and the insight they provide into how people think, act and relate in the world.
